- Read and interpret electrical schematics to build and wire control panels for custom equipment.
- Assemble and wire control components and devices in accordance with detailed schematics and documentation.
- Mount components and assemble structural and functional systems to complete custom test equipment.
- Install custom test equipment at customer sites.
- Assist with site start-up and commissioning of new equipment, including functional checks and system verification.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing equipment to restore or maintain proper operation.
- Verify electrical functionality of assembled machinery using appropriate testing tools and procedures.
- Use electrical meters and other test equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues, including AC, DC, and signal loops.
- Travel domestically and locally approximately 25‑35% of the time to support installations, start‑ups, and service work.
- At least 5 years of experience with industrial control systems.
- Experience working with refrigeration type industrial macjhines.
- Strong electrical wiring experience, including control wiring and panel building.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and documentation.
- Work experience working with AC from 24 to 480 volts, single and three phase.
- Experience with installation, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and PC/PLC–based controls.
- Experience working with custom equipment in an industrial environment.
- Pay range: $‑ $ /yr
