Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for a Van Driver to support the Partial Care Program located in Cape May County, New Jersey. The role involves transporting clients safely, assisting with van maintenance, and ensuring a safe environment during transport.
Program OverviewThe Partial Care program assists individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in developing the skills and support necessary to live, learn and work with the least amount of intervention from the behavioral health system. The program offers comprehensive, individualized, and quality behavioral health treatment within a group setting, designed to promote maximum independence in the least restrictive setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine tasks related to transporting clients to and from the program, observing all traffic regulations, planning, scheduling and routing trips.
- Assist in van maintenance.
- Provide supervision to passengers to ensure a safe environment during transport.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be sensitive, flexible and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio‑economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation, or any other special needs and able to communicate with staff and/or clients.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk to hear; taste or smell.
- Base Rate: $15.49
