Co-Op – Software Engineering – Crestron Spaces; Platform-Full Stack

We are recruiting a Summer‑Fall Software Engineering Co‑op to join our Software Engineering team in Rockleigh, NJ. This role is 100% onsite. Candidates must be commutable to Rockleigh, NJ or Boston, MA.

• Contribute to well‑defined projects supporting the Crestron Spaces platform.
• Assist in developing application logic and backend services using C# and .NET.
• Support integration with REST APIs and external services.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in developing and executing unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and CI/CD activities.
• Document technical findings and implementation details.
• Learn about connected workplace platforms and system integrations.

• Enroll in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Have unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future.

• Strong programming fundamentals and object‑oriented programming knowledge.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Coursework or project experience with C# and the .NET platform.
• Familiarity with version control using Git.
• Basic understanding of APIs and client‑server architecture.

• Familiarity with RESTful API development.
• Exposure to databases (SQL or No
  
  SQL).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming concepts.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Interest in backend systems, cloud applications, or distributed systems.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
