PL​/SQL Developer

A leading company specializing in innovative technology solutions is hiring a (PL/SQL) Java Developer to support their New York City-based team. This hybrid role requires working on-site at the NY office, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The employment type is temp, with a potential for full-time conversion.
We are seeking an experienced PL/SQL, Shell scripting Developer with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL, SQL, and shell scripting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to develop, enhance, and maintain complex applications in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in designing, implementing, and supporting reliable technology solutions that support critical business applications.

• Develop, test, and maintain applications following best practices.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.x
• Write and maintain shell scripts for automation, deployment, and system monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Dev Ops, and Product Management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues ensuring high code quality.

• Over 5 years of experience
• Proficiency in PL/SQL (Oracle) and shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, or similar).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git Hub and exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
• Preferred skills include knowledge of cloud platforms, Spring Framework, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
