Mon thru Fri 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM

The Night Transfer Driver position is based out of Swedesboro, NJ. This position transports replenishment stock to our Branch Store Network throughout the Tri-State area (Pa, NJ & De.). The driver must be qualified to operate class 6, 7 & 8 Trucks / Tractors and will be required to load / unload his cargo with a forklift. The position requires the incumbent to work the night shift.

Overtime, weekends, and holidays may also be required.

• Conform to all DOT regulatory compliance issues, including but not limited to ELD Hours of Service Reports, Driver Log & Manifesting Reports, Vehicle Pre / Post Inspection Reports, Random Drug & Alcohol testing and DOT Medical Examination.
• Maintain CDL class A license with Air Break and Hazmat endorsements.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal highway traffic laws.
• Be an expert in handling the vehicle and perform minor maintenance if needed to complete the route.
• Adhere to the daily dispatched routing schedule by the manager.
• Operate a vehicle in adverse traffic and weather patterns.
• Load & unload the vehicle at all times.
• Takes all precautions to protect the load at all times & minimize damage using load bars and strapping devices.

• Must operate class 6, 7 & 8 trucks.
• Ability to read & write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack and maintain OSHA forklift certification.
• Friendly and courteous towards internal & external customers.
• Good team spirit and work in perfect coordination with colleagues.
• Ability to read & interpret road maps and follow GPS directional devices and onboard ELD devices.

• 2-3 years of previous driving experience.
• Forklift experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent trade school certification.
• Valid CDL class A license with Air Break and Hazmat endorsements.
• Meet Department of Transportation age requirement and pre-certification requirements.
• Maintain DOT Medical certification.
• Meet all DOT criteria regarding Drug & Alcohol random testing.
• Good interpretational skills.
• Thorough work ethic.
