Truck Driver CDL B

Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Thorofare, NJ. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay: $26.25 per hour
• Hours:
  
  50+ per week
• Paid training included
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday (Start time varies)

• Route:
  Home daily
• Run locations: surrounding areas
• Equipment:
  Pallet jack, Stair walks, Forklifts
• Freight:
  Touch‑Medical supplies (heavy touch required)
• Trucks: 36 months or newer; 24/7 roadside maintenance; fuel supplied by company at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Class A or Class B CDL with required endorsements
• Pass RIDER drug test, background & motor‑vehicle check (3 years), DOT physical, RIDER road test
• Experience:
  
  9 months within past 3 years, OR 2 years within past 5 years, OR 5 years within past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Preferred TWIC card (reimbursed if needed)
• Additional screening may be required for certain positions

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading when required by customer
• Perform additional duties as assigned
