Supply Chain Engineer

The Supply Chain Engineer supports inbound and outbound distribution operations, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence to deliver products safely and efficiently to customers.

• Oversee daily inbound and outbound distribution center activities, prioritize tasks, and resolve operational exceptions such as overdue Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), over- and under-deliveries, Proof of Delivery (POD) delays, and customer complaints.
• Work under general supervision while ensuring operational continuity and patient safety.
• Ensure warehouse execution (receiving, storage, handling, picking, and packing) is performed efficiently and in full compliance with defined quality, regulatory, sustainability, legal, and trade compliance standards.
• Safeguard master data and transactional data accuracy across SAP, Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and Logistics Service Provider interfaces.
• Conduct daily interface checks between SAP, Transportation Management Systems, and external Logistics Service Provider systems, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment of stock levels between SAP and Warehouse Management Systems through regular audits and reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain transportation capacity plans for finished products, validate transport availability against customer demand and promised delivery dates, and adjust long‑term schedules to optimize efficiency and service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing root causes of operational exceptions, contributing to new control system implementations, enhancing planning procedures, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve distribution performance.

• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, Operations, or Physical Distribution (individual contributor role) or 4+ years with Vocational Education/High School Diploma in Warehousing and Logistics or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), master data governance, inventory reconciliation, transportation planning, root cause analysis, and exception management.
• Experience working with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and cross‑functional operational teams is considered a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field; or Vocational Education/High School Diploma in Warehousing and Logistics or equivalent.

Pay range: $63,000 to $100,800 annually. Employees are eligible to participate in Philips Total Rewards benefits program, including PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA with company contribution, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
