Job Description
Safe driver needed to move, stage, and park vehicles on the auction lot. Works Monday through Friday, 7:00am‑3:30pm, with hourly pay of $16.80 and potential additional compensation (commission or incentive). Responsibilities include following all safety rules, meeting company standards, and working overtime as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities- Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on the auction premises while observing auction driving rules and general traffic laws.
- Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by a supervisor or team leader, moving vehicles as necessary and locating lost vehicles.
- Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed, including inflating tires and jump‑starting vehicles using a battery box and air tank.
- Notify the supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative and notify the service or gas truck driver when the vehicle is out of gas.
- Assist customers (dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and coworkerdue y required.
- Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling behaviors related to such.
- Actively participate in supporting all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Ability to constantly enter and exit vehicles, sit for prolonged periods, walk long distances, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb as required, and lift 1–15 pounds.
- Vision abilities required: close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous auction experience (preferred).
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must clear a pre‑employment drug test;

Drug Testing:
Must clear a pre‑employment drug test. Cox does not administer a marijuana drug test for this position, but possession, use, or being under the influence of illegal drugs during work hours, on company property, or in company vehicles is prohibited.
