School Transportation Program Supervisor
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED required
2. Business school graduate, preferred
3. Experience as a transportation assistant, dispatcher or driver, preferred
4. Experience developing bus routes, preferred
5. Working knowledge of transportation routing software (Transfinder, preferred) 6. Knowledge of State of New Jersey transportation contract procedures and forms, preferred
7. Knowledge of word processing and database computer programs
8. Experience with database system Realtime, preferred
9. Ability to interact professionally with staff, parents and transportation agencies 10. Possesses satisfactory verbal and written communications skills 11. Must possess excellent organizational skills 12. Holds a valid State of New Jersey driver's license 13. Satisfactory health status 14. Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Job Goal:
To oversee the operation of the school transportation program and to ensure the safe and efficient transport of pupils.
Additional Information:
1. Full-time, 12-month position, 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday
2. Starting salary: $40,000 - $50,000 (annual) 3. Sick, personal and vacation days included. (vacation awarded after one year of employment) 4. Health benefits including health/prescription, dental and vision.
