The Route Driver Representative is responsible for interfacing with valuable customers and associates to provide American Wear uniforms and services. Individuals in this role are expected to start the workday early every morning and cover routes within the NY/NJ metropolitan area. Route Driver Representatives are required to have a valid driver's license with no restrictions and work 4-day work weeks, while earning 40 work hours per week.

• Safely operate and maintain a commercial step van/box truck along established routes and complete DOT required documentation daily
• Manage daily route to ensure timely pickup and delivery of rental products and facility services, including uniforms, shop towels, mats, mops, and other items requested by customers
• Review daily invoices and manage inventory of clean and soiled merchandise
• Reconcile route paperwork and prepare daily invoices, order request forms, payments, and other documents
• Manage inventory at customer location and load and unload route truck each day
• Communicate customer or equipment‑related concerns or issues to management or customer care department as appropriate
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude when interacting with customers in the field
• Maintain a clean and organized route vehicle.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions and an excellent driving record
• Two years of driving experience preferred

• Must be punctual and dependable, Route Driver Representatives start as early as 4:00 AM
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Must have exceptional customer service, issue resolution, and verbal communication skills
• Resourceful self‑starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Two years of driving experience preferred
• Must be able to work in all kinds of weather while working out on your own with limited supervision
• Must be able to work overtime when needed to support the business

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as periods of sitting
• Involves reaching, crouching, kneeling, stopping, and color vision
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
