Warehouse Forklift Operator - Midshift

Warehouse Forklift Position

The purpose of the Warehouse forklift position is to perform warehouse duties in all temperature zones, such as replenishing selection slots and moving product into the assigned areas as needed. The position will also be required to support all areas of warehouse operations, including order selection, product put‑away, and any other task deemed necessary by warehouse management.

• Replenishment of pick locations in the assigned area using information from the KWCS system and management, using forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, or mid‑rider.
• Move received product using forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, or mid‑rider to the assigned location within the warehouse.
• Work in all warehouse temperature zones ranging from 10 degrees below zero to unregulated zones that can exceed 100 degrees in the summer.
• Operate warehouse equipment as assigned and/or needed—cherry picker, fork, mid‑rider, and pallet jack.
• Lifting 30–60 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Possess knowledge of products and warehouse locations, which is essential.
• Preferably possess knowledge of the KWCS system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly area by clearing debris, damaged cases, and shrink wrap from the assigned aisles.

• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines.
• Knowledge of the food industry is helpful.
• Strict adherence to safety guidelines.
• Basic reading and spelling skills for completion of paperwork.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold or hot).
• Solid interpersonal skills.
