PIT Operator - Afternoon Shift

Position Overview

Shift: Afternoon Shift, Monday – Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Pay: $24.00 per hour (at time of posting for New Jersey). Benefits: paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other eligible benefits.

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move, lift, stack, or transfer product, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with high accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Display a commitment to process excellence.
• Understand and follow the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
• Use Excel for record‑keeping.
• Provide customer service and perform data entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• Training and certification in safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Positive attitude and teamwork ability.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Lift 50 lbs. frequently and over 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights.
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods.
• Handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Operate in hot or cold warehouse environments.
