Warehouse Logistics & Receiving Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves coordinating inbound deliveries, processing shipping and receiving documentation, communicating with drivers and warehouse staff, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has strong administrative and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule purchase order (PO) deliveries, storage deliveries, and storage pickups.
- Perform administrative tasks including billing, printing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and manifests, and organizing shipping documentation.
- Track inbound and outbound loads and provide status updates as needed.
- Communicate with warehouse supervisors, lead hands, carriers, and drivers to ensure efficient operations.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails related to warehouse receiving activities.
- Check in inbound drivers, collect purchase order documentation, assign dock doors, and process lumper fees.
- Create inbound delivery documents (IBDs) in SAP and PFS for receiving and printing.
- Finalize purchase orders after goods are fully received and provide signed paperwork and receipts to drivers.
- Monitor inbound receiving activities and confirm all receiving transactions are completed at the end of each business day.
- Update purchase order delivery dates and notify internal teams of delays or schedule changes.
- Process requests to void and reissue returned lumper checks.
- Reconcile weekly lumper checks and prepare documentation for mailing.
- Scan, organize, and securely store lumper checks, receipts, and cash according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of storage load paperwork to support proper account receiving.
- Enter EE sales transactions as required.
- Authorize lumper payments, issue checks, and generate receipts following company procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics, shipping/receiving, or a related role preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with warehouse personnel, drivers, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
- Onsite interview required.
