The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and assigning the activities of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving P&L results. This position supervises production operations within an assigned area or during assigned shifts.

3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM, Monday ‑ Friday

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year (depending on level of prior experience) + 10% bonus, full benefits, 401(k) and paid time off

Responsibilities
  • Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily key performance indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
  • Deliver clear and concise information during shift‑transition meetings, ensuring the next shift is prepared for success.
  • Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
  • Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are promptly resolved.
  • Engage in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assist in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required.
  • Coordinate the flow of work through the department and ensure that the department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
  • Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding company and departmental procedures, development opportunities, and departmental processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 4–5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a high‑volume production environment.
  • Capable problem‑solving skills and decision‑making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication.
  • Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • General knowledge of OSHA standards.
Required Experience
  • 5–7+ years supervisory/management experience in a high‑volume production environment required.
  • Technical degree or certification strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience working in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (e.g., testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Supervising temporary staff.
  • Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
  • Ability to develop and articulate a clear strategic vision.
Educational Requirements
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent years of hands‑on experience.
