PIT Operator - Afternoon Shift

Afternoon Shift, Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

The hourly pay rate for this role is $24.00. GXO believes this to be the appropriate rate for the position at the time of posting. The rate may be modified in the future and applies only to jobs performed in New Jersey. • Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Display a commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
• Use Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Provide customer service support.
• Maintain high data entry accuracy.

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of warehouse experience.
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Lift 50 lbs frequently and > 75 lbs occasionally.
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
• Handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
