Location:

Cranbury, NJ Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Looking for Material Equipment Operator jobs in Cranbury where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations. We are seeking experienced and safety-focused PIT Operators to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. In this role, you will operate powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment while supporting daily material handling, picking, replenishment, and warehouse operations.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer and warehouse technology skills required

Experience Requirements:

• Previous warehouse and material handling experience required
• Hands-on experience operating all required PIT equipment:
  Cherry Picker Reach Truck Electric Pallet Jack Forklift
• Experience using RF scanners and inventory tracking systems
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Ability to follow work instructions, product labels, and picking documentation
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible to work overtime as business needs require

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, move, load, and transport materials safely
• Comfortable operating powered industrial trucks for extended periods
• Physically capable of performing warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties:

• Safely operate Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, and Forklifts
• Pick, stage, replenish, load, unload, and transport inventory throughout the warehouse
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and complete orders
• Perform put-away, replenishment, order picking, and material handling tasks
• Inspect equipment before use and report mechanical or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and warehouse best practices
• Support additional warehouse operations as needed to meet productivity goals
