major responsibilities/activities:
candidate must be flexible and possess ability to work in shop environment for a variety of industries such as aerospace, faa, construction, oils & gas (manufacturing) and dod. working conditions:
- in-house plant/shop atmosphere.
- interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and clients.
- working in plant and/or shop areas around other ndt inspection equipment and forklifts moving parts around can cause elevated noise levels.
- must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
applicants must be able to provide the following qa documents:
- the candidate must have experience or prior certification as an nde level ii technician with adequate, documented experience hours as required by asnt-tc-1a standard or nas 410
- aerospace experience is a major plus
physical requirements:
- ability to frequently lift 50 pounds.
- sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to communicate effectively.
- sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employees to conduct inspections.
- ability to work in a professional manner with fellow employees.
