Commercial Employees is hiring a Traffic Coordinator for a New Kensington manufacturer of anti-freeze, motor oil, and other common and well-known automotive products. Pay rate is $20-$24hr with Daylight hours.
Position PurposeTraffic Coordinator manages shipping schedules and coordinates activities between Production, Shipping, and customer requirements to ensure freightis shipped accurately, on time, andto the correct destinations. This role involves tracking inventory, calculating product availability,and resolving shipping issues as theyarise.
Traffic CoordinatorKey Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with carriers and customer transportation teams to schedule order pickups.
- Work closely withthe Shipping department to resolve orderand carrier issues.
- Monitor shipment schedules and follow upon missed pickups.
- Print shipping labelsand scan Billsof Lading (BOLs) to customer portals.
- Ensure all shipping paperwork and documentation are completed accuratelyandproperly filed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or arelated field.
- Strong computer skills with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent written andverbalcommunication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ateam environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented withthe ability to mannage multiple priorities.
- Experience in aplanning or manufacturingenvironmentis preferred.
