Operations Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager based in New Kensington, PA. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, productivity, and quality control. Key responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating teams, implementing process improvements, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The Operations Manager will also be tasked with monitoring performance metrics, developing strategies to optimize workflows, and fostering a positive work environment for employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Experience in operations management, production planning, and process optimization
- Proficiency in quality control practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills
- Proven ability in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making
- Knowledge of precision CNC machining and manufacturing processes is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Hands-on experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology is a plus
- Proficient in using manufacturing and project management software/tools
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Job Boss ERP system or equivalent ERP system
- Bachelor's degree, or related field
- Skilled in interpreting blueprints and related documentation to support production and order requirements. A huge part of the job is generating quotes, identifying material, ordering correct material and quantity, etc.
- Strong sales operations background, including quote generation, customer support, and coordination between sales and production
- Knowledge of financial processes is a plus
- Demonstrate proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrates flexibility and commitment to meeting job requirements, including working extended hours when required.
