Build Manufacturing in New Kensington, PA and help power the resurgence of U.S. manufacturing. We integrate advanced engineering, operations excellence, and enabling technologies to deliver complex products across aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, biotech, clean tech, energy, chemicals, food production, lifestyle, and industrial equipment.
Your mandate
Quality system leadership (AS9100 & ISO 9001): architect, implement, improve.
Full QMS ownership: supplier quality → in‑process → final inspection.
Documentation excellence: prepare, submit, and complete quality documentation with Engineering and Manufacturing.
People leadership: manage and develop Quality Engineers, Quality Specialists, Calibration & Test Technicians, and Inspectors; recruit, train, mentor.
Audit mastery: run the internal audit program; act as primary liaison for customer and third‑party audits.
Launch quality: coordinate program quality planning and readiness for new products with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
Problem solving: lead A3, 5‑Why, and Fishbone efforts; embed continuous improvement.
Operational discipline: promote a safe environment, 5S, and Lean across the site.
Qualifications Bachelor’s in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, business, or related.
5+ years driving Lean (kaizen facilitation, value stream mapping) as a leader/coach.
Lean or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.
Experience in a core engineering setting; understanding of the Toyota Production System preferred.
Six Sigma competencies: data analysis, process control, Pareto and scatter diagrams, FMEA, control charts.
Excellent comprehension of business/technical publications, procedures, and regulations.
Proven written and verbal communication—reports, procedures, presentations, and Q&A with managers/supervisors/employees.
