As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will spearhead the evolution and oversight of our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure operational excellence and strict compliance with industry standards. You will serve as a pivotal leader, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of precision to meet rigorous customer and OEM requirements.
About the RoleAs a Quality Assurance Lead, you will spearhead the evolution and oversight of our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure operational excellence and strict compliance with industry standards. You will serve as a pivotal leader, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of precision to meet rigorous customer and OEM requirements.
Responsibilities- Direct the implementation and maintenance of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards to align internal processes with global quality benchmarks.
- Manage the end-to-end QMS lifecycle, from supplier quality assurance to final product inspection, ensuring consistent output quality.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors to achieve high-performance standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external audits, including customer assessments and third-party certifications.
- Drive structured problem-solving efforts using methodologies like A3, 5-Why, and Fishbone to eliminate root causes of defects.
- Collaborate with engineering and production departments to ensure seamless quality planning and launch readiness for new programs.
- Facilitate Lean and 5S initiatives to optimize manufacturing workflows and reduce waste across the facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality leadership, specifically coaching teams in Lean methodologies.
- Proven expertise in data analysis and process control tools, including FMEA, SPC, and Pareto analysis.
- Strong technical writing skills for developing procedure manuals and quality reports.
- Lean or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
- Deep understanding of the Toyota Production System and advanced manufacturing environments.
- Experience with APQP and PPAP core tools in a high-complexity production setting.
