Senior Nintex K2 / SharePoint Engineer
Location: Remote (EST or CST Required)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Nintex K2 / SharePoint Engineer to support and enhance enterprise workflow, forms, and business process automation solutions. This is a hands‑on contract‑to‑hire opportunity for an experienced engineer who can work independently within an established environment while helping modernize critical business applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Nintex K2, Nintex for SharePoint, and SharePoint-based workflow solutions
, along with the ability to support legacy technologies and drive process improvements. This role will play a key part in maintaining existing solutions while assisting with modernization initiatives, including transitions from legacy Info Path-based applications.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance workflow and business process automation solutions using Nintex K2
. - Support and optimize Nintex workflows, forms, and integrations within SharePoint environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve workflow, application, forms, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Support existing Info Path forms and applications while assisting with migration and modernization efforts.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and configuration documentation.
- Provide senior‑level technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support across workflow and SharePoint platforms.
- Ensure solutions adhere to organizational standards, security requirements, and best practices.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience developing and supporting solutions with Nintex K2
. - Strong experience with Nintex for Share Point .
- Solid experience with Microsoft Share Point development, administration, or support.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining workflow and business process automation solutions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex workflow, forms, and application issues.
- Experience working within existing or legacy environments and supporting business‑critical applications.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting or contract environment.
- Must reside and work within the Eastern or Central Time Zones

- Experience supporting and modernizing Info Path forms and applications.
- Experience migrating legacy workflow and forms solutions to newer platforms.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience integrating workflow solutions with enterprise applications and data sources.
- Familiarity with governance, documentation, and best practices surrounding workflow automation platforms.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer with deep expertise in Nintex K2 and Share Point who enjoys solving complex workflow challenges and improving business processes. You are comfortable supporting existing production solutions while helping drive modernization initiatives and reducing reliance on legacy technologies such as Info Path.
