Science Teacher

Providence Catholic High School is seeking a full-time Science Teacher for the 26-27 school year.

Salary:
Based upon the education and experience level of the candidate of choice. Year 1 Salary Range: $42,760-$47,736.

• Implementation of National Science Standards (NGSS) through an inquiry, lab-based approach.
• Integrates technology in classroom while teaching in a 1 to 1 classroom/school.
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits strong classroom management skills and collaboration skills.
• Experience revising curriculum and aligning to Professional Learning Standards.
• Experience with curriculum assessment utilizing a variety of authentic assessment strategies.

• State of Illinois Teaching License Required
• High school classroom teaching experience Preferred

• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate
• Illinois Sexual Harassment Training Certificate
• Diocese of Joliet Protecting God's Children
• Diocese of Joliet Fingerprinting & Background Check
• Work Physical/Statement of Health from Physician
