The candidate must have a positive attitude and serve as a role model to participants in the After School Care Program. Staff must enjoy working with school-aged children and teens.

• Ensuring safety of all children in the program.
• Signing children upon arrival and when they leave.
• Creating an enriching, fun, and safe environment.
• Planning activities for children of all ages.
• Interacting positively with children and their families.
• Working independently as well as with a team.
• Performing other related tasks as assigned by the principal or pastor.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
• Protecting God's Children Certificate and background check required.
• A background in education and/or college courses in recreation education is a plus but not required.
• Childcare work experience with children of all ages preferred but not required.
• Other training may be required after employment begins.

The position requires availability before and after school during regular school days.

• Before school:
  Monday-Friday 6:30am-9:00am.
• After school:
  Monday-Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm.

Hourly range: $15.00-$23.00. Final hourly rate will be determined by relevant years of experience, education, and professional licensure. Paid personal leave days may also apply.

Employees may need to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, use hands, reach with arms, walk up or down multiple flights of stairs, and lift up to 20-30 pounds if needed. Work is performed in standard office and school building environments and may involve outdoor activities.
