Providence Catholic High School is seeking a Spanish teacher for the 26-27 school year.
Qualifications:
Serve as a role model and witness to our Catholic faith. Embrace the Augustinian values of truth, unity, and love. Focus instruction on developing Spanish literacy skills. Incorporate the World Language Learning Standards into curriculum. Integrate technology in classroom teaching. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Provide academic interventions to at-risk learners.
Exhibit strong classroom management skills and collaboration skills. Revise curriculum and align to Professional Learning Standards. Utilize a variety of authentic assessment strategies. Salary:
Starting Salary Range: $42,760-$47,763 (Step
1);
Based on experience and education Professional Credentials:
State of Illinois Teaching License (Required) High School Spanish Teaching Endorsement (Required) Bilingual, English and Spanish (Required) High School Classroom Teaching Experience (Strongly Preferred) Certifications and Requirements (May be completed after hire): DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate Illinois Sexual Harassment Training Certificate Diocese of Joliet Protecting God's Children Diocese of Joliet Fingerprinting & Background Check Work Physical/Statement of Health from Physician
