Construction Project Engineer PULLMAN Chicago – Join to apply for the Construction Project Engineer PULLMAN Chicago role at Pullman Services. This position is supported by the PULLMAN Chicago team located in Rolling Meadows, IL.

About the Role

As the country’s leading concrete repair contractor, Structural Group’s mission is to make structures stronger and last longer while providing a safe and enriching work experience. PULLMAN integrates technology-driven, engineered solutions into its contracting services, including specialty design-build and a range of repair and maintenance services. PULLMAN has offices across Canada and is signatory to labor union agreements.

Our Project Engineer Career Development (PECD) program emphasizes in-field learning and development. Project Engineers master critical construction skills and participate in a competency-based mentoring program to prepare for leadership roles in project management, estimating, construction management, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and production rate tracking
  • Estimating
  • Budget preparation and project cost control

  • Field resource management

The Project Engineer role involves on-site work across the greater Chicago area (approximately 50% on-site).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree – preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • At least one relevant internship experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Reliable transportation from office to job-sites
