Our client is seeking an experienced Mechatronics Design Engineer for
full-time opportunity in the Elk Grove, Illinois area. As a mechanical Engineer you will work in a fast-paced product development environment that releases new products every 9-18 months. The company offers a niche product in the entertainment industry.
Those with electro-mechanical design which incorporates many moving parts, electronics, to finished enclosures is highly desired.
Must Haves:BS in Mechanical Engineering (or 10+ years concurrent experience)
- Engineer from concept, design & detail components/parts, mechanisms, mechanical systems, assemblies, prototype & test, release to production and provide support to product launch.
- Develop new designs and modifications to existing mechanisms, mechanical systems. improvements, that will increase game quality and reliability.
- Develop product improvements via selecting/designing new parts, redesigning components,
- Strong knowledge with Solidworks is required
- Trouble shoot product manufacturing, design, and engineering issues.
- Work in a collaborative engineering environment including work with hardware & software engineers, designers, purchasing, and manufacturing.
