Senior Structural Engineer

HOH Group, an established A/E firm, is seeking a self-motivated Senior Structural Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and structural design.

The new hire will work amongst a team of diverse professionals in our Engineering Division. The Structural team offers exceptional experience in the engineering of structural systems for government, industrial, and institutional facilities. This position is based in the Schaumburg, IL.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5 to 7 years of professional experience

B.S. or higher in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering

PE certificate required. SE preferred

Familiarity with computer software, RISA-3D, ACAD, and Revit

Superb ability to carry out projects from initiation to completion - scheduling work, tracking progress, and reviewing design work

Inclination and ability for management

Knowledge of bridges is a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and analyze new structural systems

Support repairs to existing structural systems

Prepare contract plans, project specifications, and construction cost estimates

Assist with the preparation of cost proposals
