The Senior Financial Analyst will lead financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision support. This role partners closely with Sales and Marketing to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecast for the Commercial Business Unit
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages including variance analysis, risks and opportunities, and key performance metrics
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support forecast accuracy and scenario planning
- Prepare and communicate monthly variance analysis, gross-to-net revenue analysis, and margin walk reporting
- Analyze product profitability and overall business unit margin trends
- Assess effectiveness of discount programs, pricing strategies, promotions, returns, and warranty activity
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Sales and Marketing teams, providing financial decision support and actionable insights
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, offering recommendations to improve performance
- Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and profitability
- Develop and maintain business cases for new product development initiatives
- Conduct capital and expense modeling, including DCF, NPV, and IRR analysis
- Support strategic planning initiatives and long-range financial modeling
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of FP&A or commercial finance experience
- Strong experience in revenue analysis, pricing, and margin management
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
