* Summary:

** Assist the Director, Patient Safety in facilitating Infection Control/Prevention practices throughout the hospital.  Assures compliance with regulatory standards in infection control, quality and patient safety.
** Requirements:
*** Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois (BSN preferred). Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field.
* 5 years infection control experience required. Certified Infection Control Practitioner strongly preferred.
* Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS/IDPH regulations.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
* Great customer service.

** Days, Full time, days. On call monthly.
