What You’ll Need:- Valid ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Proven experience performing a variety of MRI procedures across different patient populations
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols
- Excellent patient communication skills with a courteous and respectful demeanor
- Ability to verify physician orders accurately and consult with radiologists
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment, maintaining safety checks, and troubleshooting technical issues
- Competency in documenting and reporting equipment malfunctions
- Familiarity with hospital computer systems and documentation
Skills:
- Experience assisting radiologists with advanced MRI procedures
- Additional certifications such as state licensure or specialized MRI certifications
- Knowledge of contrast media administration and associated safety protocols
- Previous experience working night shifts in a hospital setting
Education and Experience:
- Educational background:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field - Experience:
2+ years in MRI imaging, preferably in a hospital environment
- Willingness to work night shifts as scheduled
- Compliance with all departmental safety, quality, and patient care standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
