The nursing manager is responsible for planning, directing, supervising and coordinating patient care provided by the healthcare team. The leader is responsible for the overall clinical, quality, service, and financial performance for their area. Collaborates with staff, management, and physicians to ensure quality and patient care is provided with optimum patient outcomes. Acts as a resource person to staff in problem identification and solving.

Serves as a mentor for staff and promotes a team-based model. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
• BSN degree; MSN preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Advanced degree in Business, Nursing, Allied Health Professional or Hospital Administration or national certification in specialty area preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience in the clinical specialty preferred.
• Days, 24/7 Coverage
• Monday - Friday day shift (May be adjusted to meet the needs of the units)
