MRI Technologist

Job Description:

Pride Health is hiring for an MRI Technologist to support our client’s medical facility based in New Lenox, Illinois

Job Title:

MRI Technologist

Schedule:

40 hours/Week

Shift: 5x8 Nights (8 hrs)

Pay Range for Traveler: $2,500.00- $2,600.00 Weekly DOE

Pay Range for Local: $50- $60 hourly on W2

• Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures
• Serve inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients
• Work with patients of all ages
• Perform assigned supervisory functions
• Maintain ARRT professional standards

• Verify physician orders and instructions
• Consult with radiologists as needed
• Prepare and educate patients prior to exams
• Follow and enforce MRI safety standards
• Perform MRI studies using proper technical and positioning protocols
• Administer contrast media as required
• Evaluate MRI images for technical quality
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment and supplies
• Perform equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor
• Operate hospital computer systems
• Follow manufacturer quality control guidelines

• Minimum 1 year recent GE MRI experience – REQUIRED
• BLS Certification – REQUIRED
• ARRT Certification – REQUIRED
• AMRIT certification will NOT be accepted
