• Performs routine and specialized MRI procedures for patients of all ages, including inpatient, outpatient, and ED cases, in compliance with ARRT standards.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort by verifying orders, preparing patients, explaining procedures, and adhering to MRI safety protocols.
• Administers contrast media using age-appropriate techniques and assists radiologists as needed.
• Evaluates image quality, operates and maintains MRI equipment, performs quality control checks, and reports equipment issues per policy.
