* Position Summary:

** Supports and compliments the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
* Deliver nursing assistance to patient utilizing each patient’s physical, psychological, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs under the supervision of the registered nurse
* Completes patient care timely and accurately based on the prescribed plan of care in conjunction with the Registered Nurse
* Completes documentation according to specific hospital policy
* Performs clerical / receptionist functions on the nursing units
* Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
* Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
* Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* CPR certified.
* Previous strongly preferred.

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:$18.00 - $21.00
