Under the supervision of the Network Director, the Registered Nurse (RN) promotes the physical and mental well-being of people with disabilities and/or mental illness receiving support and services. The RN collaborates with the support team to oversee medical services, including medication administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while addressing the unique needs of each individual. The RN empowers people to take personal responsibility for their health while ensuring their overall well-being.

Salary: $73,000/annual; up to $1,000 additional performance bonus per quarter

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include:
- Health Risk Screening Tool: Administered during admission and annually thereafter.
- Nursing Assessment: Conducted annually and updated as needed based on medical status.
- Self-Administration of Medication Assessment (SAMA): Conducted at least annually and reviewed quarterly for individuals with co-occurring intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental illness.
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems within the scope of licensure and credentials.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff, program participants, family members, and external stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey policies, procedures, and medical information clearly.
- Ability to maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Competency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting medical data, research, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Proficiency in calculating medication dosages accurately.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to perform deep knee squats and push wheelchairs up to 200 pounds.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- Capability to operate motor vehicles.
- Physical activities may include driving, balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion.
