Job DescriptionPay range:
$65-75/hr (the pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications)

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer / Data Scientist to join our team. This hybrid role requires expertise in both AWS infrastructure and data science techniques to build scalable systems and extract meaningful insights from data. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing cloud-based environments while applying data analytics to solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability and security.
- Develop machine learning models and data analytics solutions to drive decision-making and business strategies.
- Automate processes and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Analyze data to discover patterns and insights, utilizing tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Implement, test, and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-based data solutions into business operations.
- Monitor cloud resources, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with security best practices.
- Generate visualizations and reports to communicate findings and support strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and data science tools (Python, R, SQL).
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (Tensor Flow, Scikit-Learn).
- Expertise with Dev Ops practices and tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages for data processing and automation.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- AWS certification(s) and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) are a plus.
