We are hiring! Join our team and become our new IT Infrastructure and Security Coordinator
, responsible for monitoring, remediation, and upkeep of IT infrastructure, security, and disaster recovery systems.
Some info about the position…
- Mentors, evaluates, and supervises the IT Support Specialist.
- Plans, prioritizes, assigns, and coordinates the work of assigned staff for timely and appropriate completion.
- Designs and plans the network infrastructure and architecture.
- Implements a disaster recovery plan, including but not limited to scheduling, monitoring, maintaining and testing of backup/recovery of all vital Village systems (Cloud and on-prem stack).
- Schedules and performs routine preventive IT network and infrastructure system maintenance.
- Maintains, monitors, and tests the Village’s IT network and infrastructure network is always secure.
- Coordinates the resolution of all Village help desk activities.
- Maintains and updates user privileges.
- Maintains regulatory and cybersecurity compliance.
- Responds to and updates IT and FOIA Service Requests.
Qualified candidates should…
- Have a bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer-related field.
- Have at least five (5) years of IT infrastructure and network related experience.
- Preferably have a ITIL, ITSM, MCSE, CCNA R&S, and/or CCNA Security certifications.
- Have a strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices.
- Be proficient in the use of computers and associated technology, as well as Microsoft Office products.
- Have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to exert in excess of 70 pounds occasionally and in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently.
- Be able to do frequent climbing, crouching, standing, talking, reading, writing, and hearing, as well as handle frequent use of repetitive motions.

- Full salary range is $92,909 - $130,073 per year (hiring range is typically no higher than midpoint)
