Job Summary
Heitmeyer is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the Wire ISO 20022 Implementation Change and Migration workstream within the Wealth Management organization of one of our Global Financial Institution clients. This role focuses on coordinating front office and middle office teams through data-heavy migration activities, while driving decision-making and execution across groups that do not have embedded PMO, BA, or data support.
The ideal candidate understands banking operations, is empathetic to sales/support functions, and has hands‑on experience delivering Wire ISO projects beyond purely technical components.
Job Description
- Lead the end‑to‑end Wire ISO change/migration workstream for the Wealth Management line of business.
- Coordinate activities across Front Office (sales) and Middle Office teams responsible for collecting, keying, re‑keying, and validating client and operational data.
- Oversee extensive data analysis, re‑analysis, and quality checks required throughout migration cycles.
- Partner closely with Technology teams to track, manage, and resolve issues across applications impacted by the migration.
- Act as the central coordination point for teams lacking their own PMO, BA, or data resources; ensure stakeholders remain aligned, informed, and accountable.
- Drive execution, decision‑making, and cutover readiness across business and technology functions.
- Maintain detailed project plans, risks/issues logs, timelines, and status reporting for leadership.
- Promote operational discipline and adherence to banking procedures, controls, and processes.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services
- Experience delivering Wire ISO projects (beyond coding/testing)
- Strong understanding of operations, workflows, and control environments
- Ability to manage large‑scale data activities and re‑validation cycles
- Proven experience working with front office and middle office functions
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across diverse teams
- Ability to drive execution in highly matrixed environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Trust, Custody, Wealth Management, or Payments
- Familiarity with wire operations and banking applications
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑pressure operational settings
- Demonstrated empathy for sales, operations, and support teams
- Prior experience with complex banking migrations or change initiatives
