A Fortune 500 restaurant chain is looking for a securities lawyer with 5+ years' experience with public company reporting including 10-K's and Proxy Statements for a 4-6 month engagement starting as soon as possible.

The work will involve a broad range of public company reporting responsibilities, however, the primary focus of this role will be advising on SEC reporting, including Forms 10-K and the company's Proxy Statement. The ability to distinguish between practical, real-world issues and purely academic issues in connection with these responsibilities is highly-valued. Proxy statement and 10-K experience, ideally in a large public company, is required.

Corporate governance and Board meeting experience would be a plus, but aren't required.

• Compensation: $110-120 per hour

• We are very open to fully remote engagements, however, candidates based in the Chicago-area who are open to 1 day per week on-site would be a huge plus.
• This engagement will require 30 hours per week during February, and 20 hours per week through the end of May.
• The selected candidate will be employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) for the duration of the engagement.
• Budget will be a key factor here. The client will consider candidates outside of this range, but the target rate is $120 per hour.
• Candidates must be able to work part-time for 20-30 hours per week. The work will be performed remotely.
