Supply Chain Consultant

Join our dynamic team at Slimstock and play a pivotal role as a software implementation consultant at Slimstock, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality consultancy services to our customers.

The main responsibility is to work within an implementation team, the responsibility starts with the analysis of the current situation through the design of the solution up to its implementation by using the capabilities of Slim
4.

• Analyzing customers forecasting, inventory management practices and supply chain processes.
• Experience of forecasting (demand planning), replenishment (supply planning), and promotional planning.
• Lead the implementation of Slimstock solutions to optimize forecasting, inventory levels and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with customers to understand their unique challenges and tailor solutions via configuration to meet their needs.
• Conduct workshops (scoping, data, process) and training sessions to empower customers with the knowledge to manage their supply chains effectively.
• Monitoring and refinement of the impact of implemented solutions and adjusting as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the wholesale, distribution, CPG or production sectors.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in using Microsoft SQL as a business support tool.
• Experience of demand forecasting, allocation planning, replenishment strategies, and promotional planning.
• Experience with Slim4 solutions is desired, or similar middle and upper level products.
• Enthusiasm for demand planning and a commitment to continuously improving in this area while sharing your knowledge with customers and team members.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Self-Starter, proactive Project Management mindset.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers.
• Preferably reside in the Greater Chicago, IL area but remote is possible for the right candidate
• Willingness and ability to travel (as high as 25%) as required for customer engagements and project needs.
