As we approach our 150th anniversary in 2026, we remain committed to making disciples, strengthening families, and reaching the next generation.

RCC is currently engaged in a Shared Ministry initiative with South Fork Church of Christ — two healthy, independent congregations located in the same community, working together to strengthen each other and expand Kingdom impact in our area.

Rochester Christian Church (RCC) is prayerfully seeking a Pastor to guide, teach, and shepherd our congregation into its next season of ministry. RCC is currently engaged in a Shared Ministry initiative with South Fork Church of Christ — two healthy, independent congregations located in the same community, working together to strengthen each other and expand Kingdom impact in our area. While both churches maintain their own leadership, finances, and local identity, the Shared Ministry initiative allows for collaboration and teamwork in areas like teaching, discipleship, outreach, and encouraging one another in faith and ministry, helping both congregations thrive.

We are a Bible‑believing congregation in Rochester, Illinois, rooted in the Restoration Movement, and committed to outreach, discipleship, and developing leaders for sustained Kingdom impact.

We are seeking a pastor who is:

• Spiritually mature and deeply committed to Christ
• Grounded in Scripture and faithful in preaching and teaching
• A shepherd who cares for people and points them toward Jesus
• Humble and teachable, willing to learn and to encourage/mentor others
• Gifted at discipling believers and developing leaders
• Collaborative, humble, and a unifier within the body of Christ
• Supportive of both local outreach and global missions
• Aligned with the heritage and practices of the Restoration Movement

Our community of Rochester, Illinois, is a growing community located just seven miles southeast of Springfield, with a population of approximately 3,900.

It offers excellent schools, family‑friendly neighborhoods, local businesses, parks, and recreational trails, making it an ideal place to live, raise a family, and engage in ministry. Staff RCC currently employs multiple staff. We remain committed to missions (local and global), outreach, discipleship, and preparing for future ministry opportunities.
