Position:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Provide leadership and support to subordinate personnel.
- Perform patient evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge functions.
- Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience required.
- Open-heart experience required.
- Active Illinois nursing license required at submission.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- COVID and Flu vaccinations required.
- Prior Cerner experience strongly preferred.
- Thoracic, vascular, and interventional experience preferred.
- Updated resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
- 2 supervisory references.
- Active certifications and nursing license.
- COVID vaccination documentation/status included in profile.
