Location:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a local Med Surg/Telemetry assignment in New Lenox, IL. This opportunity offers a supportive clinical environment, strong ancillary support, and the chance to work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a high-quality acute care setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry equipment
- Administer cardiac drips and manage post-surgical patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional nursing standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Supervise and support CNAs and other assigned healthcare staff
- Specialty:
Med Surg/Telemetry - Shift: Nights
- Patient Ratio: 1:6-7
- EMR System:
Cerner - Patient Population:
Adult and Geriatric - Trauma Level II Facility
- Free Parking Available
- Minimum 4 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
- Stepdown experience required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, and post-surgical care required
- Active Illinois RN License required at time of submission
- BLS/CPR (AHA) required
- ACLS required
- NIHSS certification required
- Illinois Nurse Agency License documentation required
