Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU
Location:
New Lenox, IL Pay Rate: $52/hour Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Job Type: Per Diem Minimum Commitment: 3 shift every 30 days
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will be confident caring for critically ill newborns and managing advanced neonatal equipment and procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients
- Manage neonatal ventilators, CPAP, and Vapotherm
- Administer IV therapy, central lines, and TPN
- Respond to neonatal emergencies and Code Blue situations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Supervise support staff as needed
- Minimum 3 years of recent Level III NICU experience
- Active Illinois RN license
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Current NRP certification
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required
