You will welcome customers to Lowe’s and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met. Your daily responsibilities may vary by department.

Customer Service Associates work in one of the following departments:
Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Downstock merchandise by replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Train cross-functionally in other areas of the store.
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smart phones, tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation.

• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi-lingual skills.
• Certification in trade related to department.

This role does not require regular travel; it may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location. Works in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifts may be up to 75 pounds single lift with team lifts starting at 75 pounds.
