Being a Sales Associate at Ace is so much more than just stocking shelves and directing customers. We work as part of a team to offer outstanding customer service and provide a unique shopping experience.

• Communicating and Interacting with People – The day is centered around assisting your team and our customers from the moment they enter the store till they leave the parking lot.
• Sharing your knowledge – Help customers find what they need, make personal recommendations, and share new products and promotions. Share your experience with your team to grow together.
• Keeping the store running – Make sure shelves are straightened and stocked, provide unique services (paint, key, glass, screen, pipe, pool, propane, etc.), and keep the register lines short by backing up the cashier.
• Problem Solving – Help customers find a solution or the advice they need when they have interesting questions and needs.
• Learning new things – We’ll train you on everything from hardware to new products and skills.

• You love interacting with people and want to go the extra mile for every customer.
• You are positive, energetic, love being part of a team and take pride in your work.
• You want to know more about the products we carry and help customers find them.
• You are dependable and able to work when customers want to shop (days, nights, and weekends).
• You have worked retail before (not necessary, but a plus).
• You enjoy moving and being on your feet, stocking shelves, and helping customers load purchases into their cars (often heavy items such as 25‑lb bags of soil or 50‑lb bags of concrete).
