Sales Engineer – Food Equipment Sales

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team, specializing in the sale of commercial food equipment and solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical product knowledge and customer needs, delivering customized equipment solutions to clients in the food service, hospitality, and food production industries.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food service and food production sectors.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, quoting, closing, and post‑sale support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Understand and explain the technical specifications and benefits of food equipment (e.g., ovens, slicers, mixers, packaging machines).
- Provide customers with equipment solutions that meet operational, capacity, and budget requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations, on‑site evaluations, and technical consultations.
- Monitor competitor products and market trends to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams on customer needs and industry developments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Over 4 years of experience in technical food sales, preferably in food service equipment, industrial kitchen systems, or similar sectors.
- Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude with the ability to understand schematics and product functionality.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with AQ (Auto Quotes).
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally (up to 50%).
