Business Development Manager – Cutting Tools / CNC Solutions

$130,000 – $150,000 + Bonus + 401(k) + Full Benefits + PTO + Fast-Track Progression to President!

Midwest Region – (Regional Travel)

Are you a Sales Leader or Business Development Professional within the metal cutting or CNC manufacturing industry, looking for an autonomous role where your performance directly paves the way to senior leadership including direct progression to President?!

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the world's most respected cutting tool manufacturers, as they continue to expand their North American presence. With an exceptional product line, global backing, and ambitious growth plans, you'll play a key role in driving market share, building relationships with distributors and end users, and shaping the company's long-term direction in the U.S.

As the Business Development Manager for the Midwest region, you will spearhead strategic initiatives to develop new business, deepen key partnerships, and maximize profitability across key manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, and precision machining. You'll have full ownership of your territory and the support of a world-class technical team behind you.

This is not just another sales role, instead it's a true leadership pathway. The right individual will be positioned to progress rapidly, with a clear and direct route to President-level responsibility within the U.S. organization as you prove your commercial impact and leadership ability.

The Role
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and growth plans across your assigned region
  • Drive new business development through customer visits, product presentations, and solution-based selling
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with key distributors, OEMs, and manufacturing clients
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical and product teams to deliver tailored cutting tool solutions
  • Report directly to senior global leadership with the freedom to shape your own market strategy
The Person
  • Experienced sales or business development professional within cutting tools, metalworking, or industrial manufacturing
  • Proven success in territory management and growing market share
  • Strong commercial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to progress to executive-level leadership
  • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 75%) to meet customers and drive business growth
