Senior Account Executive

Freight Management, Inc. (FMI) is a family-owned, veteran-operated 3PL with over 40 years of excellence in the logistics industry located in Itasca, IL. We specialize in ocean container drayage, import and export management, and domestic truckload brokerage utilizing proprietary technology like My Freight Manager TMS and Draydex® to deliver superior service to our clients.

As a Sales Executive
, you will not only sell FMI’s industry-leading services but also play a hands-on role in managing customer relationships and operations.
You will serve as the single point of contact for your clients
, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service.

• Drive Sales Growth: Build and maintain a portfolio of B2B accounts
  , focusing on ocean imports/exports and truckload brokerage
  . Use your industry experience and network to identify and close new business opportunities.

  Act as your clients’ go-to resource, ensuring their needs are met from the initial quote to order fulfillment.
• Provide Accurate Quotes: Respond promptly to client requests by pricing shipments and providing tailored solutions.
• Operational Oversight: Build and manage orders in FMI’s My Freight Manager TMS and oversee shipment tracking to guarantee high levels of service.
• Engage and Communicate: Stay in constant contact with clients, addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
• Hit Targets: Consistently achieve monthly revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Proven Sales Success: At least 2+ years of logistics or transportation industry experience
  , with a track record in ocean imports/exports or truckload brokerage sales.
• Operational Savvy: Comfortable managing quotes, orders, and shipments using TMS or similar platforms.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong ability to connect with clients and build lasting relationships.
• Multitasker with Attention to Detail: Able to juggle multiple priorities and ensure accuracy at every step.
• Tech-Savvy
